With the development of modern society and acceleration of life rhythm, employees and managers have to face the challenge of many mental health programs because of rival stress and unemployment crisis. It is a very important problem for corporations and human resource management how to safeguard employee's mental health and regulate employee's psychology and action. Employee assistance program prevailing in western corporations as a effective means to help employees solve mental health problems and help corporations decrease working risk and improve productivity, is focused on by scholar inland. It becomes an important means of modern human resource management. The stress of insurance industry stands out in every industry, so employees need EAP to help them manage stress more. This article picks up China Life Insurance Corporation as investigation object, uses questionnaire to study the background of putting forth EAP, and puts forward the mode of establishing EAP.This research mainly uses questionnaire and interview methods. This paper mainly analyses the condition of employee's work stress, the requirement of EAP and the organizational environment to set up EAP. Then this article puts forward the mode of building EAP base of it.The following is the result of this article: through investigation, it is found that employees in the case company have heavy work stress and the salespeople's stress is heavier than the other's. Employees show strong wiliness of EAP. According to the intense wiliness, the assistance content of EAP is medical health care program, personal development program, leisure entertainment, professional refer, crisis support program. According to the wiliness to use EAP, the approaches to use EAP include face-to-face refer, training, referral hot-line, internet assist and agency assist. The organizational environment of this corporation is common. The senior managers are aware of the loss because of stress, would like to try the simple and friendly EAP. They worry about the acceptance of employees. At last, the article gives the mode of building EAP, the integral working process and evaluating system. Innovations of the research: at present, the system investigation to the need of corporation employees in our country is blank. This research enriches this field. The information about EAP inland is mainly translations and introduction of EAP abroad. This article puts forward particular building progress and management suggestions, so gives the reference to the following.
