This article is a research based on the data between 2001 and 2006 from the《World Trade Development》by the World Trade Organization, which concludes features of international pattern of trade in services for 6 years since the beginning of the 21st century as follows. Firstly, the development path of international trade in services appears to be similar with that in goods. Secondly, the transportation services share a basically steady percentage in the whole international trade in services, while the travel services share a decreasing one and other commercial services an increasing one. Thirdly, the international pattern of trade in services continues to be dominated by developed countries as well as centralized by Europe, Asia and North America with unbalanced development between countries and regions. Lastly, international trade in services in developing countries is speeding up with a general quicker speed than developed countries. After describing the contemporary international pattern of trade in services is a demonstration of its causes.
