The Real Diagnosis Analysis On The Imbalance Between Sino-US Trade

Since the trade deficit between U.S.-Sino trade appeared in the year of 1993 for the first time, the issue of trade imbalance between U.S. and China is controversial up to the present. Especially recently, the ceaseless trade friction between Sino-U.S. shows that the Sino-U.S trade relationship has entered into a sensitive period. The United States is adjusting the negotiation strategy and taking a tough position by using the trade deficit as poise. Consequently, it is of great importance to deal with the Sino-U.S. trade imbalance issue in a rational and proper manner. This paper analyzes the basic characteristic of Sino-U.S trade, discusses the causes of the trade imbalance, forecasts the future trend of the Sino-U.S trade balance and makes suggestions on this issue from a real diagnostic prospective.
