Research On The Trade Benefits Of China's Exports To The EU Based On Value-added Calculations

Sino-EU trade is frequent and huge,and both sides play an important role in each other's foreign trade.In recent years,along with the aggravation of trade imbalance between China and Europe,trade frictions have occurred from time to time,seriously affecting bilateral economic and trade relations and industrial development.Under the background of intra-industry division of labor,this paper regards static trade interests as the breakthrough point,re-examines the gap between China's exports to the EU from the perspective of added value,and compares the results of added value accounting with the results of total value accounting,which truly reflects China's position and value-added ability in the Sino-European trade value chain division system.The first chapter decomposes a country's trade interests by constructing a multiregional input-output model,and leads to the indicators of value added.The second,third and fourth chapters analyze China's export value-added,value-added difference and value-added of sub-commodities to the EU in turn based on the relevant data of domestic value-added(DVA)in OECD Global Value Chain Database,and compare them with the total value statistics.At the same time,according to the time of accession,geographical location and the size of trade with China,all EU member states are classified,and China's trade interests and trade status are analyzed more concretely and deeply.Data show that China's exports to the EU are overestimated under the gross value statistics,but the gross value difference has been overestimated in recent years.In terms of commodities,the value-added content of commodities with a higher proportion of China's exports to the EU has been differentiated.Finally,combined with the analysis of each chapter,it is concluded that the profitability of China's exports to the EU has been effectively improved,and the difference between domestic value added and value added of exports mainly comes from the major member countries such as Germany,France,Britain and Italy.At the same time,China's export advantage commodities are still concentrated in processing trade and labor-intensive products.In the future,China-EU trade will continue to grow slowly and concussively,and China's huge surplus with the EU is expected to narrow further.
