In the turn of new century,there are many mergers in Chinese beer industry. How these mergers impress Chinese beer industry is the point of this paper. Along with the"market structure→M&A→market performance"way, this paper describes the central point.Firstly, it reviews the history of the mergers of Chinese beer industry, analyses the background of these mergers. It thinks: the market competition structure of China Beer industry causes those enterprises to make the rational choice through the strategy of merging and expanding ,meanwhile making the cooperative effect is the other important reason.After analysed that M&A give the impact on beer industry development of our country, it thinks M&A can optimize the resource distribution of the trade , promote the trade technological progress, help the trade form the effective competitive environment. Through making the consequence of merge behavior quantized with three indexes , the paper uses the economic metering method finally, examines how these mergers impress the Chinese beer industry. The result shows: market concentration makes the market performance better, but the impact that the resource distribution and the technological progress impress the market performance are not remarkable, the possible reason is the merger of the trade has just started, meanwhile the function on the performance of the technological progress is not immediately, it takes some time.
