Life-cycle Environment Management Of Construction Projects

Construction projects have a great influence on environment during construction, operation and back out. It is important to study the environmental issues, theories and methods to resolve the environmental issues.The research is helpfull to reduce of the consumptions of energy and materials, reduce the construction rubbish, reduce the impact to the environment, and achieve the Sustainable development of Construction projects.The paper firstly introduced the research background, the study object and the research methods, including Life-cycle theory, Sustainable development theory, and economic theories.Etc; then discussed the environment system of construction projects, analyzed the law system of environment management; in the third part of the dissertation, the emphases is the environmental issues of Construction projects, such as energy consumption, materials consumption, construction rubbish, exhaust gas, liquid waste and noise; the fourth part is the most important part, it discussed the relation between Life-cycle Environment Management and ISO14000, as well as EIA, analyzed the management flow of Life-cycle Environment Management, bring forward that the Life-cycle Environment Management must be integrated from three dimension, and then discussed the Life-cycle Environment Management from three point of views: project life-cycle, organization related and technology.The research analyzed the natural environment system of construction projects comprehensive systematically, discussed the main environmental issues based on practice and investigation , bring forward that the Life-cycle Environment Management must be integrated from three dimensions: project life-cycle, organization related and technology. In the mean time, use the theories of Welfare Economics (Theory of Externality and Theory of Commons) to instruct the environment management. The research is propitious to build up the environmental consciousness, pay more attention to the sustainability of the project, guide the implementation of construction projects, and the most important is it can provide effective methods to improve the environmental issues for all the related organizations.
