Study On The Hydropower Project Investment Control And Management Method

Due to the elements of huge scale, long construction period, complicated construction of hydropower projects, and plan economic system has great impact on hydropower industry, during hydropower projects, great attention is drawn on the construction rather than on management. Investment benefits are paid less attention for the project financed by the government, usually resulting in uncontrolled investment, the situation of over budget are very common. How to study the hydropower project investment control through project investment management method is a subject to be solved urgently. This paper carries the analysis and study on this subject.This paper addresses the background of hydropower project cost study and study significance, putting forward the main contents and method of the paper study. On the basis of studying overseas project investment management represented by USA, UK, Japan France and Canada, together with the author's own investment management and control experience gain from Xiaolangdi Mutilpurpose Dam Project, several problems are analysed existed in the project investment management of our country, such as insufficient study, lack of effective promoting mechanism during the implementation process, no effective control of the project through the whole process, project estimate management, etc. Regarding the existing problems, some suggestions are raised on the basis of studying overseas advanced investment management and control method as well as the practice of Xiaolangdi project.This paper analyses the present situation of hydropower investment management and control of our country with the relevant theory and methods, finding out problems existed in the investment and control, bringing forward effective suggestions of project investment control, and providing inspiring ideas and reference to the investment management and control of the projects under construction and those to be constructed...
