Facing the continuous innovating electronic product market, instantly response on electronic production line constructing is necessary. It's difficult to control those variants if we only use traditional equipment investment method. We need introduce new management theory to manage this new challenge effectively. Project management is very powerful on handle those kinds of complex activities with time and resource limited. With deeply research and study on project management application for electronic production line constructing, we have presented some details instruction on this topic through real case study.We are focusing on background of electronic production line and basic concept of project management in Chapter One and Two. We also stated what's the trend of project management application especial in electronic manufacturing field.We are focusing on scope management, cost management, time management and risk management from Chapter Three to Chapter Six. We initiated the life cycle cost concept and finalized how to apply this concept. It's a significant progress on equipment technical and economic analysis and it provides a more advance method on cost evaluation. Chapter Six showed us how to manage the risk on electronic line project. With some risk management forms and 3 dimensions matrix designed, we created a model on how to identify the risks, evaluate risks level and take actions to correct them.The final chapter gives us a real case study on scope, time, cost and risk management with the above methods applied. It will help us to set up a project management application solution model on electronic line construction through the combination of theory and practice.
