Empirical Research On Influence Of FDI On S&T Development Of Chinese Enterprises

The eleventh five year program has put forward the problem of enhancing independence innovation competence and building innovative countries. Then what the relation between FDI and enhanceing independence innovation competence, either stimulative or incompatible with each other? Accordingly, the study on the relation between the foreign investment and the technology development of Chinese enterprise is carried out in this thesis.An comparative analysis of various theotetical views and conclusions between FDI and the technology development of Chinese enterprises is carried out. Recently, the major theretic methods relate to this problem is economic growth theory method, econometrics method and investment mesure model method and technique theory method, etc. On the basis of these theoretic methods, there are three different research conclusions to the problem mentioned above. The first one is the stimulative view, the second is the suppressive view and the third one is the unconspicuous view or the view that both effects existed.A new model is established using the Econometrics method analysising the relation between FDI and the technology development of Chinese enterprises, and it has been tested by various econometrics. From this new model, we can see obviously that the Enterprises' input of science of this year are of direct ratio with the production of FDI and input of science of last year, while are of inverse ratio with the square of the input of science of last year, and of inverse ratio with the cube of the FDI of the last year. So three conclusions are obtained as following:The combination of FDI and the technology development can increase the input of science and enhance the improvement of enterprise's technology, which shows that FDI has a stimulative effect on the technology development on the condition that they should inosculate with each other.Enterprises' input of science of this year is of direct ratio with the square of the input of science of last year, this indicates that the input of science is not adequate.Enterprises' input of science of this year is of direct ratio with the cubic of the input of science of last year, this indicates that FDI has a mount of suppressive effect on the input of science when the FDI is large enough.At last, the author point out that the countermeasure of stimulative effect which should be largely promoted: Promoting the comparative predominance, enhancing the attraction to FDI, keeping the marketing competence and the relation to technology of production of companies on and out home, driving the cooperation of scientific research department and the FDI enterprises, enhancing the human resource competence and the abilities of technology development, combining the technology importing and independence innovation, adjusting...
