Evaluating Performance Of Circular Economy For Manufacturing Enterprise

Along with the dramatic increasing of economy and population in China, the needs of all kinds of resources are increasing correspondingly. But the traditional development is " high input, high consumption, heavy pollution, disharmonic, difficult circulation, low efficiency" and made it's hard to realize sustainable development. Circular economy mode is a kind of sustainable development mode. And manufacturing enterprises are very important for developing circular economy in whole society. For promoting enterprises to adopt circular economy, the relative evaluation is essential. Therefore, this dissertation is mainly to study the evaluation index system and methods for manufacturing enterprise.First, this dissertation analyzes the theories and the running mode of circular economy in China and international development, and analyzes the characteristics of developing circular economy in China. Put forward that developing circular economy in manufacturing enterprise is very important, and relative evaluation is also essential.Second, this dissertation analyzes the evaluation index systems and methods of circular economy performance that can be referenced from China and other countries. Then, put forward that using the Ecological Footprint Analysis (EFA) and the Material Flow Analysis (MFA) together to evaluate the circular economy development in manufacturing enterprise.Third, this dissertation discusses the theories and its applications of EFA and MFA in detail. Then, according to the method and principles for setting up index system, establish the index system and put forward the evaluation method to evaluate circular economy performance in manufacturing enterprise.Fourth, this dissertation analyzes the enterprise performance for developing circular economy with the evaluation index system promoted in this dissertation. Then, put forward some advices for the enterprise to improve its performance. On the other hand, through the actual application, problems of the index system were found and solving measures were put forward.Finally, this dissertation summarizess the merits and shortcomings of the circular economy performance evaluation method and index system for manufacturing enterprise established in this dissertation, and anticipate the developing trend of CE in the future.
