This thesis discusses the nature of Internet and its relationship with electronic commerce. In its nature, Internet is a system of knowledge disseminating and managing. However, Internet at present stage cannot fulfill its function in complete sense as a knowledge system. The thesis looks back at the development of e-commerce and concludes that with the rapid development of Internet e-commerce, global economy has marched into a new era. After summing up three key technique supporting collaborative product commerce, the author points out that collaborative product commerce is the developing trend of e-commerce. The ways enterprises implement collaborative product commerce are as follows: putting product information in a safe area easily accessed by their partners, with the version control, evaluation and revision of their managing partners, meanwhile making sure that everyone works with the newest version.This thesis sets up the model of integrated value chain with integrated value at the core, and then analyses the nature of conducting business. The author starts with the model of running duration of virtual enterprises, aims at finding the key index of controlling the running of virtual enterprises. According to business model ,the author views that value is the only index controlling virtual enterprises. Deducting through the model, the author points out the index system evaluating three stages in virtual enterprise's running duration: profits rate. The thesis then discusses the issue of value chain managing system and finds the quantitative index of evaluating value chain managing: the model of Profit/ risk. The author also points out the key elements optimizing value chain management: customer value, core capability and value transmitting.This thesis can not only lay foundation for optimizing value chain managing but also provide reference index for the analysis of e-commerce economy.
