Since the reforming-opening policy of China, the Chinese family firm becomes more and more important in economic activities as one of the most dominating part in civil-operated economy. However, with the increasingly complicated management inside and strong competition outside, many family firms encounter the bottle-neck problem. As to the phenomena, the scholars suggest that family firm should transfer into professional management pattern. As a result, the professional management becomes a hot issue be discussed. Professional management pattern is the nature outcome with the development of family firm and influence of external environment. We can't be too anxious to grow to establish professional management pattern prematurely-"spoil things by excessive enthusiasm", also we can't refuse the changes when it is time to transform. So in this paper, the author attempts to analyze the critical conditions of the family firm transferring into professional management from endogenous variables and exogenous variables.The paper is divided into six parts. Part one is to make clear the purpose and relative content from the very beginning, including the document summary of forefathers' researches on the proposition, the purpose and meaning, logic structure of dissertation, the definition of related concept and main innovation. Part two studies the development process of Chinese family firm, advantages and disadvantages of family management pattern. Part three analyzes the professional management pattern of Chinese family firm. Part four gives a comprehensive analysis of the critical conditions of professional management of Chinese family firm from endogenous variables, which including entrepreneur ability, the scale of enterprise, the industry characteristic etc. Part five analyzes the critical conditions of professional management of Chinese family firm from exogenous variables, including social culture and trust, law and policy etc. Part six is conclusion and expectation of the thesis.
