Research On Foreign Enterprises Culture Building

Company culture was formed in America in the eighties of the twentieth century. Its modern theory was introduced to China in this century. In the increasing drastic international market competition, company culture was used as a new-type management model by more and more companies. Especially in foreign invested company, company culture building is more important for the development of company.First, this article systematically analyzed company culture theory, and introduce the company culture development strategy and implementing plan for MW(Yantai) Machinery Co. Ltd.. In addition, this article studied the development process of company culture in MW(Yantai) Machinery Co. Ltd., and discuss the company culture growing trail which is from the initial building, development until mature since the foundation of MW company. During the research, many modern methods were used, such as analysis by contrasting, process analysis, demonstration analysis, data contrasting and so on. This article also expressed the detail models and process on the company culture building and implementing in successful foreign invested company. These models and processes can be practiced and used for reference by other company.Finally, this article analyze reasons that lead to the success of company culture development of MW (Yantai) Machinery Co Ltd., and also demonstrate that the failure of a foreign invested company resulted from failure of the combination of two different cultures from different countries. By this, author can make a decision that making the management localization is the key of the success on the company culture building. During the building of company culture, the focus from top management, individuation, applicability, and variability is the key point in implementing company culture. Furthermore, building excellent company culture is the essential management style and method of making company success and permanence.
