Research On The Application Of Balanced Scorecard To The Knowledge-based Enterprise

The core idea of Balanced Scorecard is to illustrate the enterprise strategic track by means of the interaction among such four factors as financial, customer, internal process, learning and growth. The Balanced Scorecard which sets the financial and non-financial performance indicators according to the strategy is better than the traditional performance evaluation system which focuses narrowly on financial indicators and neglects the non-financial indicators,.Therefore, The Balance Scorecard is an effective strategy management tool to help enterprises establish the performance evaluation system with strategy as its orientation and finally achieve the strategic goal, obtain the long-term competitive advantage. With the coming of knowledge economy era and the further development of economic globalization, competitions among enterprises no longer depend on its own material, capital and the number of employees, knowledge becomes the essential factor of enterprise to survive and sustaining develop, the knowledge-based enterprise has became the leader body of the new economy time. In the face of a changing environment and fierce competition, it is very important for knowledge-based enterprises to establish an effective performance evaluation system, which evaluates the execution of the enterprise strategic target timely and accurately, and realize the strategic goals finally. Both the knowledge-based enterprise and the Balanced Scorecard are hot topics in domestic academia and business circles, but the study on the integration of two areas is scarce.
