For many years, deposit and loan are the main operation of Gansu branch of ICBC. Marketing management was neglect in its ordinary operations on the circumstance that the operation category is limited and target market and client are relative unchangeable. The critical changes of Chinese operation environment urge commercial banks to meet the need of competition under the help of marketing and to survive in the drastic financial competition .Gansu branch's present marketing management cannot meet the need of fast developing financial market and affects its ability of competition. In this article, the author diagnosis such object as marketing idea, marketing system, product management, brand management, service for client according to the basic principle of marketing using investigating method accordingly. Through the comprehensive probe in the present situation of marketing management, the author find the problem existing in Gansu branch's marketing management and make corresponding solution on the basis of its actual operation to comb its internal marketing management and improve its management and operation level.
