Study On Development Model For County Area Economics Of Poor Region In Gansu Province

County regional economy is one of the important parts of regional economy. County regional economy play the role of bridge that connect the city and countryside, link up each industry status. At the beginning of century,"Expand the County regional economy"is advanced in the Sixteenth National Congress of the CPC,"Develop vigorously the County regional economy"is put forward in the Third Plenary Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee of the Party. As the weakness of constructing Well-off society, county regional economy gets the attention and regard increasingly.Gansu is a less developed area in the Westward, county regional economy is the foundation of sustained growth of the national economy, but it is the weakest part. As inconvenient transportation, deficient resources, unenlightened information, frequent natural disaster and so on, county regional economy based on the Self-sufficient agriculture which is important employment avenue and source of income in the poor areas. The backward of county regional economy shows: the unreasonable industrial structure, system of ownership structure imbalance, market economy developing slowly, deficient fund, backward in technology, low culture and education level, ineffective exploit and use of resources. Thus, the development degree of county regional economy in poor areas has the relations with the extent of improve of economical comprehensive strength in Gansu and the race of casting off poverty and setting out on a road to prosperity in poor areas.On the basis of county regional economy theory, this paper analyses the development in poor areas of Gansu. According to the analysis, the paper tries to find out the reason of dropping behind and gives the theory basis, by Principal Components and Hierarchical Cluster Analysis, evaluate the level of county economy development of poor areas, and induce 41 poor county into 4 sorts.
