In recent years, the mobile communications have developed rapidly. Up to March of 2006, the consumers who serviced by Jilin Mobile Company have exceeded 10000 thousand. The total consumers of Jilin mobile,Jilin Unicom and Jilin Netcom exceeded 1660 thousand, and the popularization extends 60%.Thinking about the instance that a lot of the consumers who has two or more mobile telephones, the popularization of Jilin Province is about 50% in practice. It is lower than that of the developer country whose popularization is about 80%-90%, so it will develop for a long time.Along with the developing of 3G(Third Generation Mobile Communications) in the world, the 3G license will put out at the end of 2006.At the time, Jilin Mobile, Jilin Netcom and Jilin Unicom will dispose 3G network, and provide 3G service. There will be more extreme competition in the close time.The aim of this paper is to provide the reference policy for Jilin Mobile Complete in the age of 3G.The paper divides into five segments. The first chapter introduces the history and development of the communication industry; the basis management instance of the main companies in Jilin Province, including Jilin Mobile Company, Jilin Unicom and Jilin Netcom, then explains the background and the content of the study, and the research method of the paper.The second chapter, mainly tells the basis characteristic of 3G technology; the sort of the international standard of 3G technology; the strengths and weaknesses, the degree of mature, the development tendency of three main technology standard of 3G: WCDMA,CDMA2000,TD-SCDMA.
