The Bancassurance, flourishing in recent years, has become one of the three major marketing channels of most insurance companies, especially in life insurance business. However, with its development, the debates have increased, such as if there are bubbles in Bancassurance and which way to follow in this field. Based on the research of related literature and theory study,the thesis illustrates the positive effects brought by the Bancassurance development in different aspects, such as taking full advantage of banks resources, cutting marketing cost, achieving scientific specialization and strengthening the social influence of insurance companies. Besides, they also bring many challenges. Rapid expansion of Bancassurance puts forward more requests in capital utilization, adds new cost from marketing channel and leads to conflict between banks and insurance companies. After the analysis of positive and negative efforts, the thesis comes to an conclusion that the insurance companies should make efforts to push the developments of Bancassurance, and suggests the countermeasures should be taken by the insurance companies. Author brings forward that banks and insurance companies can cooperate more nearly by organization innovations. We should also improve the profit of capital, intensify the risk control, develop appropriate products, improve services and technology.
