| On the basis of questionnaire survey & interview, this paper finds the situations of female workers labor protection in Fujian non-public firms are worrying. Why does labor protection fall into such a dilemma? This paper, as a whole, focuses on triangular structure of labor relations to seek factors about governments, firms & female workers. By applying legal & gender perspectives, the paper illuminates out-of-date legislation & imperfection, which lead to female workers encountering frustration while referring themselves to legal aids. Meanwhile, by means of feminist theory, the study lays a special emphasis on female workers' routine experience & feelings, & respects their comprehensions about labor protection & interest choices. What can we do to make female workers labor protection better? Macroscopically speaking, the state & governments play a crucial & essential role to promote the amendment & implementation of laws & regulations, the establishment of labor protection mechanism; microscopically speaking, enterprises, trade unions at all levels & female workers have a great deal of work to do. |
