With the rapid growth of economy of our country, there is a great demand for special automobile. By the thorough market investigation and analysis, X Group decided to enter the special automobile industry in 2002, and become the first special automobile group. Nowadays, X Group has set up many manufacturing bases in south China, southeast and north China by means of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). In contrast to the other areas of our country, the Southwest market less advances economically, has no substantial resources and the size of a market relative small. Therefore, X Group can't mechanically apply other areas experience when it enters the Southwest area market of special automobile. X Group must choose the proper market entering way on the basis of the area market traits and the strategic objective of enterprise to obtain the biggest profit in the area.The paper draws references from the relative research methods of the multinational corporation market entering theory and industrial organization theory, and designs three possible market entering ways: agent sale, technology and production permit, direct invest for X Group. The paper also proposes three dimension factors: strategic objective, market attraction, resources and abilities, as well as the theory framework: strategic objective — market attraction — resources and abilities — entering tactics. By the comparative research for three market entering ways, along with the market analysis and predictions, and analysis of the resources and abilities of X Group, the paper ultimately draws the marching model between entering ways and three dimension's comprehension weight evaluation value, and provides a basis for X Group marching the southwest special automobile market. Meanwhile, the paper also provides a relative decision-making method and train of thoughts for X Group opening up a new area market.
