The Research Of Farmland Dynamic Change In Guangzhou City

Cultivated land is a kind of important resources for mankind's survival and development, the study of farmland protection is a focus in home and abroad, which has become an important component of the "land use / cover change" (LUCC) study. Land resources are very scarce in Guangzhou, and the rapid economic growth and urbanization process took a lot of farmland, coupled with farmland degradation and loss, the contradictions between population and farmland are very serious, so the sutdy of farmland dynamic change and protection has become a key issue to local socio-economic sustainable development. In order to have a guiding role for the farmland protection in Guangzhou, and to benefit the rapid economic development in different areas, the study begins from the following areas in this paper:(1) The inventory result shows: speed reduction in the number of cultivated land brings to farmland preservation tremendous pressure in Guangzhou city. According to inventory and analysis, the farmland area was 153,720.53 hectares in the end of 2002 in Guangzhou, reduced by 15030.34 hectares than in 1996 when base period of the previous overall plan of land use; it decrease 2505.06 hectares per year that exceed above between 1996 and 2010 farmland reduce goal number. Among of districts in Guangzhou: the cultivated land reduce number focus on the Zengchen & Huadu district from 1996 to 2002, respectively 6715.32 and 3684.89 hectares, more than 50% which accounts for the reduction of farmland in the whole city. secondly, farmland reduce distributed in Conghua & Fanyu & Baiyun district, it is 1742.54, 1752.91, 1276.55 hectares respectively, accounts for 30%; A small quantity cultivated land decreasing happens in Tianhe & Haizhu district, is 449.73 and 185.21 hectares respectively. Then we describe the reducing state and reason and farmland protection condition in each district. The macroscopical reason for the cultivated land reduces is mainly to non-agricultural build taking up, agricultural adjustment, population growth, etc.(2) Analyze the drive of cultivated land change from natural and social humanity factor, For the natural factor does not change much, and also influence lightly the cultivated land change.
