Pesticide Enterprises' Performance And Its Comprehensive Evaluation

Pesticide is an important production material in agriculture, while pesticide enterprise is the source of providing production. Since China joining into WTO, Chinese pesticide enterprise will be in face of tremendous impact in the near future. Therefore, it is an ultimate joint to improve the performance of national pesticide enterprise. In this article, the influence factors on performance were analyzed, and the evaluating index system was established, then some listed companies were used for demonstration. The purpose of this study is to provide a reference for national pesticide enterprise to find themselves' shortage.The development of pesticide enterprise is influenced by many factors, such as the holistic developing environment, policy, statute and so on. In chapter 1, the developing status of enterprises and pesticide industry were resumptively described, which included developing course of industry, selling and keeping of enterprise, exploiting capacity of market, trend of technical study ect., The actuality of enterprises' performance was summarized in chapter 2.The next chapter, the connotation of pesticide enterprise was put forward: it means that the efficiency and effect in a series of behaviors, which included such aspects: the capacity of production profit, handling capacity of resource and materials, social responsibility. Furthermore, different benefit body, different claims for the evaluation of pesticide enterprises' performance. The benefit body included enterprise owners, managers, creditors, trade communicators and learning investigators, whose evaluating emphases were analyzed respectively.On the base of chapters 1 to 3, the index systems of evaluating pesticide enterprises' performance were constructed in chapter 4, containing describing index system and demonstration one. The former was used for theoretic study; the latter was for demonstration, which avoided of gaining some data hardly, easier to be operated actually. Meanwhile, the comprehensive evaluation method — AHP -Range Standardization was presented for demonstration.In chapter 5, firstly, the 2004 open data of 15 pesticide listed companies were collected for transverse comparison. In order to avoid the low reliability of the results, Factor Analysis Method was introduced to act as the comparing reference and relativity test. Quite accordant results were educed, which indicated that the former method was in point and its evaluating results was full of persuasion.
