Resear On Rosca Of Xianyuan Village

ROSCA is a kind of non-governmental organizations, which has important functions for Economic Assistance. In Wenzhou, the custom of ROSCA was exist widely. The paper will re-carding the history of ROSCA,on the case of Xianyuan Village in Wenzhou city, form lots of field work, gaining sufficient firsthand matterials,and then analyzes its function in the village and the relations between ROSCA and Wenzhou Pattern.The paper is divided into five parts:The first chapter is introduciton.This part is composed of Literature Review,the historical evolution of ROSCA and overview of Xianyuan Village. RESEAR ON ROSCA is beginng withWang Zongpei's《The ROSCA Of China》in 20th century 30′s. A large number of scholars have focused on the analysis of ROSCA from an economic point of view, or from the view of its legitimacy. But, examining the ROSCA from the point of Folklore is still rare. Study on the ROSCA in the background of village is this paper's keystone. The second chapter is about relation between ROSCA and the village economic. The Villagers has a demand for mutual help which because of poverty, ROCSA just to meet this point. After being elected, its development is closely related to the village economy.The third chapter is about the ROCSA's organizational structure and operation model. ROCSA has a watertight organizational stucture.It only happens in the villagers which have Close relationship, and will not be interfered with or managed by any unit or individual. ROCSA's operation is also follow certain rules, its list gives a clear explanation of the rules and regulations.The fourth chapter will focus on the community cultural change and local culture in Wenzhou through the study of ROCSA. Xianyuan Village's community cultural is in the process of changing, differe types of Rosca in different periods were reflected Xianyuan village's community cultural Features in the different historical stages. And ROCSA custom of Wenzhou plays an important role in the formation of Wenzhou Model. This part will try to analyse it from three aspects: Non-governmental capital, organizational system, the economic of Wenzhou People.The last chapter is the paper's ending.After reviewing the whole paper's main contenr,this paat will summay the paper and analysis theROSCA's status in Xianyuan Village.
