The development of Internet makes people communicate more conveniently, and get information more quickly. However, rumors spread more widely and more quickly at the same time. The company should not only face the trouble caused by rumors, but also learn to deal with rumors’attack in inner system. If the company handles the rumor problem improper, it may lead to false information, bad relationship between employees or even challenge the company itself. In traditional organizations, departments were independent from each other and communication between them were rare. With the development of Internet community, all kinds of information can spread in this organization more quickly in a more complex way. Communities are made of people, as a result, culture has a deep influence on the community. Therefore, it is valuable to research the influence of different community cultures on rumor propagation within the community.Based on previous researches, this paper provides modes and related measure instruments to analyze the influence of rumor propagation among the intranet. Combining textual and practical surveys, I put forward a series of valuable views and conclusions, and I hope my paper can make some contributions to the public research and the development of enterprises.The whole structure of my paper is placed in a logic system. Firstly, it comes up with several theories, and then I will use some case studies to prove previous theories. In the end, I’ll give some advices to improve the situation. In Section 1, it mainly talks about the background of my research, which can stress the meaning of this topic and guide the following analyses. In Section 2, I summarize previous scholars’ achievements in studying network community, community culture and other core concepts, and all of these form the foundation of my research. Then I put forward my research mode and related assumptions in Section 3, and through case studies in network communities nowadays, I make a measure table about community culture, self-identity in communities and rumor propagations. Besides, I also build a mode about how community culture can influence the rumor spread in communities and make some useful assumptions based on my mode. Next, in Section 4, I review previous data collected from case studies and analyze them statistically, providing proofs of the following demonstration in Section 5. Finally, I summarize my research in Section 6 and give some suggestions to related policies and future study.Through these six sections, my paper mainly solves the following three problems: firstly, what can be called "community culture" and how to measure it; secondly, whether there is relationship between community culture and rumor propagation; thirdly, which efficient advice, in perspective of community culture, can be given to contain the spreading rumors. What’s more, there are three conclusions I achieve through this research:firstly, negative correlation exists between the participation and adaptation of community culture and the spreading of rumors; secondly, there is a positive correlation between the consistency of community culture and rumor propagation; thirdly, self-identity in communities plays a regulating role between community culture and rumor propagation. In conclusion, I have three suggestions based on my research:to build a more open and flexible atmosphere in community culture; to advocate a kind of propagation mode in which multiple channels can coexist; to fully make use of resources of Big Data to enhanced accuracy of information.
