Based on the connotative definition of financial ecology, the thesis takes 50 countries (regions) as research objects to investigate the constituent elements of financial ecology, the mechanism on economic growth and its spatial characteristics. On the foundation, indicators at all levels of financial ecology are set up and the financial ecology how to promote economic growth of 50 countries (regions) is studied from multi-perspective to investigate the characteristic on time and spatial. At the same time, China's financial econoly to promote economic growth is analysed and at the end of this paper, constructive proposal is put forward base on the weak of China's financial ecology. The main research contents are as follows.First of all, through the summary of the theories on the relationship between financial ecology and economic growth at domestic and abroad, the connotative definition of financial ecology is defined. On this basis, Systematic analysis on the mechanism of financial ecology and its spatial characteristics is done, preparing for the construction of statistical model of financial ecology to promote economic growth.Secondly, based on the data from IMD, the indicators at all levels of financial ecology are constructed through selecting the relevent variables, and the financial ecology and its elements are measured by using the path analysis, in order to summaried their indicator values. Then using Granger causality test to verified that the financial ecology is the cause of economic growth indeedly, based on that, the panel data model of financial ecology to promote economic growth is established.Third, the empirical analysis is done. Studying entire sample, classification of sample in the mechanism of financial ecology to economic growth by use of the setted panel data model, and a comparative analysis about the role between financial ecology and other factors which affect economic growth has been done. The following conclution are obtained: First, for the entire sample, the elements of financial ecology all have a significant impact on economic growth. For the countries(regions) whose financial eco-level or economic growth level is different, the role of the elements to economic growth show a significant difference. Second, compared to other factors which affect economic growth, the financial eco-level or the rate of economic growth is higher, the role of financial ecology to economic growth is greater, and financial ecology as the major factor to promoting economic growth, its impact on economic growth is greater than labor, physical capital, human capital and technology. Third, China's financial ecology is at low level, its role to economic growth has not been played fully, and is far less than the role of capital and technology. Finally, aiming at the poor financial ecology of China, advice including fostering the development of financial markets actively, improving the social credit system, strengthening the legal system, is given to financial ecology.
