The performance management is the central content of human resource management, It is effective to improve the competition capacity and adaptability in the company by the establishment of a sound performance management system. As a result, nowadays how to realize a clear understanding of performance management and set up a performance system, which is scientific and reasonable, is an important task to the enterprises in China.Firstly, this paper describe the basic concepts about performance management and relevant theory, then analyze the actuality and the existing problems in the performance management of the Y State-owned investment company, Focus on the appraisal methods, Application of assessment results and Feedback on assessment results, On this basis, give advice on composition and construction of the performance manage system over the whole framework, and proposed implementation of appropriate safeguards and evaluation. Through the majorization on the performance management in Y State-owned investment company, offer some methods for solving the problems existed in Functional department appraisal, and hope to be helpful for human resources managers.
