As the major part of modern mechanism of human resource management, performance management plays an important and guiding role in the strategy execution of commercial bank. Bank of China(BOC) Liaoning branch, which is the first level subsidiary of BOC system, is dedicate to applying major tools of performance management in connecting different performance targets of institutions,divisions and employees with overall business development together. Furthermore, it has made a lot of beneficial exploration and research. According to the summary of improving methods of BOC performance management in recent years, the author wants to put forward solutions which can match the development demand on the base of practical problems in daily work.Based on the theory of performance management of commercial banks, this thesis emphasizes the process of performance management and analyzes KPI, BSC, MBO and EVA which are common used in the performance management systematically. Secondly, this thesis illustrates the situation in different aspects in details, and analyzes the actualities of performance management of BOC Liaoning branch. The author makes a concrete introduction on the mechanism construction, focusing on the institutions growth incentive mechanism, "Count as one of the best" strategy,professional team incentive schemes and rewards of strategic banking products. Finally, it also points out the current problems existing in the performance management of BOC Liaoning branch and introduces advices to improve them.To promote the implement of bank strategy and ensure the execution of optimization and suggestions, the author brings forward several guarantee measures at the end of this thesis.
