With the rising and development of logistics industry in China, it is the key focus for theorists and practitioners to promote the management efficiency of this industry. In logistics enterprises, distribution is one of the most important parts, so more attention should be paid to distribution process reengineering.The present paper chooses DS logistics enterprise as object of study and focused on problems, reasons and supporting measures during the process of distribution process reengineering. Firstly, the present paper introduces background, significance, main contents. Then, literatures related to distribution and process reengineering, including basic concept of distribution and process reengineering, common problems, steps, and performance appraisal, are thoroughly and systematically reviewed. In the third part, the paper introduces DS enterprise and its distribution in detail. Then, it proposes three problems, including vehicle stowage, in road management and customer service, and analyzed their reasons based on process management.Thus, it is necessary for DS to take strategies to optimize distribution process. Firstly, the present paper proposes the guiding ideology and goals of distribution process reengineering. Then, a whole frame of distribution process reengineering is proposed. Based on the framework, the present paper analyzes the above three problems. To ensure successful implement of the framework, the paper proposes some supporting measures, difficult points and process control. Finally, this paper summarizes research contents and looks forward to future researches in this area.
