With the increasing improvement of modern internet technology and the diversified development of the world transport industry, the logistics industry has been under an unprecedented progress. To the traditional "inner logistics" as a starting point, some companies become the third-party logistics companies. But the service of most third-party logistics companies has been focused on the transportation, storage and so on. Moreover due to the effect of the traditional functions of ideology, many phenomena, such as the work inefficiency态higher operating cost and lower customer satisfaction, exist in these companies.In this paper, we choose DB logistics company as the research object. It is such a third-party logistics company that operates the road freight as the main business. Through the investigation, it is found that the benefits of the company gradually decline and customer satisfaction steadily falls. The above two cases are particularly severe in the receipt and delivery service. In order to adapt to the development of modern logistics and cast the core competitiveness of the enterprise, the receipt and delivery process is in urgent need to be improved using the method of process reengineering.Through the spot investigation of DB logistics company, based on an in-depth analysis of the receipt and delivery process, and by combining the techniques of process re-engineering the problems and the corresponding causes in the process are indentified and the program of process re-engineering is presented. Finally we put forward the assessment indicator and the assessment method aiming at re-engineering resolution.This paper can be divided into four chapters according to their content and the different stages of process re-engineering, the main content of each chapters are following.The first chapter is preface, mainly expounds the background, significance, ideas, the research method and the main content of this paper.The second chapter is the related theoretical overview. The meaning, thinking, method and steps of the business process reengineering are reviewed.The third chapter is the description, analysis and diagnosis of the current process. It mainly uses the business process description and fish bone analysis techniques. The flow charts of the receipt and delivery process are specifically depicted. The existing problems and the causes of the problems in the process are diagnosed. The forth chapter is the re-engineering and evaluation of the new process. The brainstorming and simulation of the re-engineering process techniques are applied in this section. The re-engineering program of the receipt and delivery process is presented and furthermore the evaluation system for this program is built.According to the analysis, this program can provide a theoretical reference for receiving and delivering process reengineering of the company, in order to resolve all kinds of problems, even expected to achieve continuous improvement of the company process.
