Research On The Supply Chain Optimization In The Import Projects Of ZT Company, China XD Group

To respond the new guideline of "transforming development mode" from the State Assets Administration Committee to those national enterprises such like China XD Group, ZT Company, in which the author serves, begins its developing mode from extensive production that pursuing GDP index to fine production that pursuing economic benefits and working efficiency. Accordingly, its operating mode of procurement, provision and logistics needs to be renovated as well, such as: Just-In-Time procurement, Just-In-Time provision, etc.This Thesis researches and analyses the optimization solution of the buyer's supply chain from the point of view of the author's daily import and purchase work in ZT Company. The Author synthetically adopts his MBA knowledge in the research, including:Purchasing Management, Performance Management, Financial Derivatives & Risk Management, Inventory Management, Operational Research, Statistics, Customer Management, Quality Control, International Commerce, Electronic Commerce, Office Automation, Project Management, Production Operation Management, Logistics Management, as well as Construction of a Virtual Enterprise.This Thesis vividly and actively applies the above-mentioned MBA theories into the author's working practices, furthermore, it quotes many real cases and first-hand data from ZT Company, combining whose characteristic and the current systems concerning its supply chain system, trying to get out a solution for building up and optimizing its unique supply chain system.This Thesis is composed of 5 parts:Exordium; Summarization of Supply Chain System Literature in the Globe; Overall Model of the Buyer's Supply Chain in ZT Company, China XD Group; A Research on the Supply Chain Optimization in the Import Projects of ZT Company, China XD Group; Conclusion and Innovative Revelation.The first chapter explains the background, significance and researching clues of this thesis. The second chapter briefly reviews the involved theories of supply chain management, purchasing management and foreign trade management currently at home and abroad. The third chapter reveals the overall model of the buyer's supply chain in ZT Company, China XD Group, from 8 aspects:ERP, purchasing cost control, information-based purchasing business automated management, project management, OEM & co-developing new products between nuclear company and (sub)suppliers, lean supply chain & logistics management, assessment and evaluation of purchasing performance, the evaluation, selection and performance appraisal of suppliers, etc. The fourth chapter tightly matches the third chapter from part to part, to research and optimize the buyer's supply chain of ZT Company accordingly.
