With the great development of the tourism industry, Wuhan as our country of central area large city, attracts more and more tourists to come. Because here has rich tourism resources, favorable geographic conditions and profound cultural foundation. Travel as the three pillar industries of tourism, but also ushered in an unprecedented opportunity for development. Travel relatively low barriers to entry to attract a large number of investors have entered the industry. This makes the travel market of Wuhan city increasing competition, corporate profits decreased.In this thesis, the existing travel agency in Wuhan as the empirical study. Through the analysis of the core competitiveness of travel agencies elements, hope to find out the problems in core competitiveness of Wuhan city travel agency. and puts forward some corresponding suggestions and countermeasures. Then proposes corresponding Suggestions and countermeasures. On the one hand, contribute to Wuhan to enhance the core competitiveness of travel agencies; on the other hand, other regions in China to enhance the core competitiveness of travel agencies also have reference significance. This paper uses a literature study, inductive analysis, questionnaire survey and other research methods. This article begins with the characteristics, components of the core competency theory. On this basis, analysis the characteristics of travel agencies and the development of wuhan city travel agencies. And finally put forward recommendations to enhance the core competitiveness of travel. Specific research conclusions are as follows:1. From domestic and foreign scholars, the theory of core competence research, combined with the nature of travel characteristics, core competencies proposed by the travel planning ability, service ability, strategic capacity, conformity ability and enterprise culture five elements. Planning and service capabilities the core elements that enhance the core competitiveness of travel agencies, in order to build the core competitiveness of travel agencies a concise system model. 2. By questionnaire and field visits to summarize the current situation of the core competitiveness of Wuhan travel, find out problems, and analyze the root cause of the problems.3. Finally, to travel planning ability, service ability, strategic capacity, conformity ability and enterprise culture five elements elements as the starting point, according to the nature of travel enterprises, puts forward a series of suggestion to enhance the core competitiveness of travel agencies...
