A Research On Multimodal Optimization Model And Application Of Coal Enterprises

Although China's coal reserves rank third in the world and China's coal resources are relatively abundant, the overall distribution pattern of coal resources is more in north and west,little in south and east. The situation that distribution of coal resources not suit regional economic development and consumer demand determines China's coal transportation pattern:"from north to south ", "from west to east". In order to solve the contradiction between supply and demand of coal, coal enterprises should improve the operational capacity of the coal supply chain and logistics capabilities.Firstly, from the perspective of supply chain management, this paper analyzes the links among supply chain, logistics and transport, pointing out that reasonable transport is important for improving the efficiency of logistics and supply chain. Secondly, based on the situation of an overview of coal resources in China and the contradiction between supply and demand, this paper analysises the importance of reasonable transport which not only to coal supply chain but also to stable supply of energy security and the entire national economy. Finally, by summarying the results of domestic and international transport models, this paper constructs a multimodal transport model and studies Pingzhuang Coal Group LTD company including analysising problems of transport links, establishing the multimodal transport optimization model of the coal enterprise, pointing out appropriate solutions and recommendations for improvement.
