Latin American region including Mexico which locates in north American, Central America, the Caribbean and South America, a total of 33 independent countries and 13 yet separate areas. It's important to enlarge the export to Latin America which can improve the market share of emerging market and developing countries in china's export market and conform to china's "market diversification" strategic requirements helping reduce the export market concentration.Along with the development of globalization, China and Latin America's economic relationship produced profound changes. China, as the biggest developing country, has made great development in economy,while the region of Latin America which is rich in natural resources, is a market with high industrial development level and great development potential. The trade complementary between China and Latin America is very strong. Most scholars continuous focus on topics such as the change between China and Latin America in export trade volume and export product structure or Latin American antidumping trade barriers. Literature reviews are abundant, but a research with strict empirical analysis is relatively rare.This dissertation is based on the analysis mode of "general quantity-trade methods-product structure",starting with export trade theory. The article uses normative analysis and empirical analysis as research method, on the basis of investigating the trade development and variation characteristics in the export from China to Latin America, reveals the problem in scale and structure of the trade flow between China and Latin America. Also the paper uses chart analysis and the trade gravity model, analysis the various factors of China's export trade to Latin America in the influence of flow in three aspects such as general quantity, trade method and product structure. The paper studies that China export quantity of Latin America affected by both countries'economic size and the openness of the import country. The trade potential calculated result indicates that at present China's export to Brazil and Chile is in good development while the export from China to Mexico, Argentina and other main countries of Latin America exist a certain degree of trade shortage.
