A Study On Influence And Evolution Of Sport & Leisure Policies In Shanghai

Into 21st century, process of leisure in different countries and regions has been gathered into the new global trends, leisure is changing our lifestyle. Sport & Leisure, as an effective means of improving physical and mental health, has been paid attention and becomes an important part of modern lifestyle which has a positive attitude and healthy content. Experiences in developed countries show that government must take the responsibility of public service when sport leisure is increasingly becoming an integral part of daily life. For example, configuring sport facilities, providing or arranging sport and leisure activities, creating a better social atmosphere and providing opportunities of healthy recreation. There exits difference in national needs between China and West. Our country is a functioning society of central for government policy. The government's policy is essential to the development of society. The impact of government's policy cannot be compared with any other factors. Therefore, based on the perspective, the development of sport and leisure in our country will be subject to the impact of government policies. It should be paying attention to how the policies and evolution phases guide the development of sport and leisure. Also it is the core issues of the paper.The project is aimed to find out the evolution and characteristic of sport & leisure policy, sport leisure activities and sport leisure organizations. In this respect, this paper is mainly under of qualitative research and comparative research methods. On the one hand, this paper explains the evolution of sport leisure policies in Shanghai; on the other hand, this paper studies the interim change of three different dimensions of sport leisure facilities, sport leisure activities and sport leisure organizations, using comparative analysis. On the basis, combining characteristics and experiences of sport & leisure policies in foreign countries, this paper proposes the problems and the future development trends of sport & leisure policies in Shanghai. It is to provide reference for the healthy development of sport & leisure in Shanghai and also promote the research process of relevant problem deeply.This paper is approximately divided into six parts. The first part summarizes the research background, research methods and content, and sorts out the status of the domestic and foreign academic research. The second part is to analyze the development of sport & leisure in domestic and international countries and the evolution of sport leisure policies. In addition, the development of sport leisure and constitution of sport leisure policies are described. The third part describes the evolution and characteristics of sport leisure policies in different historical stages that are to grasp the factors of evolution of sport leisure policies in Shanghai. The forth part explores the influence of sport & leisure policies on the development of sport leisure, focusing the configuration and layout of sport leisure facilities, sport leisure activities of residents and system of sport leisure organization. Then the development of sport & leisure could be grasped. The fifth part is to summarize the problems of sport & leisure policies and provides the direction of sport & leisure policies in Shanghai, basing on the mature sport & leisure policies in foreign countries. The sixth part is a summary, furthermore, according to the corresponding conclusions and puts forward the relevant proposals and measures to government.
