Salary is an essential and crucial factor to mobilize the enthusiasm of teachers,and also the key factor to the construction of college teaching staff. With the gradual expansion of the scale,our country's higher education completed by the elite to mass changes and ranks the first in the world.The "national education reform and development of long-term planning programs"drafted in 2010 clearly states that the core mission of the future development of higher education is to improve the education quality,we will enter a new stage that our all focus is on the quality of higher education.Improving the quality of higher education can't do without the full enthusiasm of teachers and improvement overall strength of teaching staff,so salary incentive will be the focus of college administrators and researchers.A number of salary reform conducted in China since reform and opening up, along with the national economic system transformation and deepening of the socialist market economic system, China's college salary system has undergone Structural wage system,The introduction of the system of job classification wage subsidy system,Wage system level professional and technical positions,Allowance system,Performance salary system and so on,the right of colleges to self-distribution is also gradually expanding. The salary system gradually reformed and improved, teacher's salary increased, but the enthusiasm of teachers has not increased accordingly.Technical colleges at undergraduate level are of a Newly take the technology development path and now in the early stage of development,in order to cultivate senior technical talents.How the current conditions of the salary incentives for teachers to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of teachers, to improve the overall quality of teachers, to enhance the overall strength of the colleges, as the key issues to technical colleges at undergraduate level. The arm of this text is emphasis on salary incentive of teachers of technical colleges at undergraduate level.Based on the theory of compensation,motivation and salary incentive,the salary incentive system of domestic and foreign college teachers, the analysis of the unique occupational characteristics and needs of teachers of technical colleges at undergraduate level, and thus analyze the elements of salary incentive of teachers of technical colleges at undergraduate level.Then choose DJ College as an example to conduct a questionnaire survey on salary incentive,the research results reveal that:First,the bulk of teachers of technical colleges at undergraduate level are not satisfied with the current low salary levels.Second,the salary distribution of technical colleges teachers still based on position and title,job performance has yet to play its due role.Third, salary system reform received some degree of success and the income gap between teachers are widening,but salary is not reversible,can't motivate teachers.Fourth,the external and internal salary incentive of teachers both are insufficient,but in general teachers are more satisfied with internal salary than external salary,more satisfied with non-economic reward than economic reward in external salary.Fifth, gender, age and years of teaching is the non-significant variables in contingency factors in salary incentive,education and title are the significant variables.For the conclusions of empirical research,this text presents some suggestions on salary incentive of teachers in technical colleges at undergraduate level:First,external salary is the basis for efforts to improve the economic rewards.Second, increasing internal salary to effectively mobilize the enthusiasm of teachers.Third, giving priority to efficiency, improve performance evaluation mechanism.Fourth.incentive salary system individually focus on different levels of teachers.
