| Chinese IT distributors for nearly 20 years through the development process have made the glorious cause of IT distribution continuously through innovation to adapt to the market demand. Currently, however, with the change of the market environment, the appeal of upstream firms and the demand of downstream customers, the distribution of the advantage has been weakened. Because of the homogeneity of the IT product, the increase in the number of competitors, the change of the market competitive manner and the diversification of the competitive means, IT distribution after a period of rapid development, have officially entered the era of little profit. The traditional IT distribution model has been difficult to adapt to the needs of the rapid development of IT industry. Under the new situation in the new era, If IT distributors want to change the status and the predicament at present, they must review the survival environment and seek the new survival strategies. Only by this way, IT distributors can survive, develop and win in the fierce market competition.Under the new situation in the new era, IT distributors how to survive the fierce market competition, development, and win a meaningful research topic. This article analyzed the existing situation of distributors, the challenges in the new environment and the new value point of distributors in the supply chain. Combining with the "survival of the fittest" law, this article proposed that the IT distributors must put forward the special service to supply chain and create enough value from various ways to obtain the trust and dependence of manufacturers and customers.In addition, this article through the actual case studies, according to A SWOT model, analyzed the current advantage, distributor, weakness, opportunities and threats, combined with the analysis of the survival strategy for distributor mentioned earlier, and put forward some strategies for the survival IT distributors for reference, which has some certain theoretical and practical significance. |
