Research Of Land Use Changes And Driving Factors In Jiaozuo

With the further development of the research on the changes in the global environment, the scholars realize that the main reason for changes in the global environment is land cover changes, which were caused by exploiting and utilizing land because of human's survival and development. Therefore, the land use change has become the hot issue of global environmental change, which also has been under high attention by the scholars of all countries. Nature, society, economy, population, technological progress and policy factors contribute to land use change. Quantitative analysis relationships of land use change and the driving factors is the key question of research on land use change.Based on summarizing the theories and methods of the domestic and foreign land use change and its driving force, this research selects level 2 land types of Jiaozuo city as the research object, from the land use quantity change, land use structure of land use changes and the Angle of degree change perspective, analyzes the features of land use dynamic changes from 1992 to 2008 in Jiaozuo city. The main conclusion is: various land use types undergone great transfer, cultivated land and water area, and un-used land area were decreased, other types of land use increased. Among them, the cultivated land mainly changed to the land for residential areas and mining , un-used land area ainly changed to forestland.According to the basic analysis on change of land use in the research areas, qualitative and quantitative analysis are done respectively on the natural and social economic drivers in the research areas. In the quantitative analysis on the driving forces, in order to complete the comprehensive analysis on the various potential factors that might lead to the change on land use in the research areas, This article summarizes a number of variables, take the main componential analysis method and quantitatively analyse the major driving factors that cause the change of land use in the research district. Using the principal component analysis, the paper has a quantitative analysis. The main conclusion is: The main driving force of land use changes is economic development.By the researches, some problems are found out in the land use in Jiaozuo and relevant proposals and measure are put forward for the sustainable utilization of land, scientific basis are provided for land administration institution on land use planning and management and the basis of policy-making on the sustainable utilization of land resources are also supplied.
