At knowledge economical times, human and intellectual capital is the source of competitive advantage. The knowledge workers, who combine these two kinds of capital, has become the most important and the most core group in society. Whether to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, or applicant then specific knowledge of various businesses, we must rely on the knowledge workers, who are the carrier to achieve those goals could play a critical role to the development of their enterprise. Therefore, from which to motivate knowledge workers become an important way to make use of talents and achieve organizational goals. However, the knowledge workers own their distinctive characteristics and diverse needs. How to motivate knowledge workers to mobilize their enthusiasm and creativity becomes a problem in human resource management practice, and also becomes a core proposition of modern enterprise for sustainable development.This article is used to motivate knowledge workers in a construction enterprise from the basic theory of motivation and demand characteristics. It combines with the Beijing Urban Construction A Company's actual situation, and makes a profound description on current incentive strategy on four major areas, the salaries and benefits, performance assessment, training and development, career planning, analyses the problems and reasons on knowledge workers'motivation. It still puts forward the corresponding optimization principles and measures, addition to want to use a more scientific mechanism to achieve enterprise to attract talent and stimulate employee enthusiasm to improve job performance and achieve organizational goals. In addition, the article also explored the conditions which the company needs to pay attention during the implementation.
