The Study Of Information Supervision System In The Information Process Of Power Enterprise

Enterprise information construction can not be isolated and its development must be linked with the overall development of the enterprises. Power companies are of no exception. As conventional industries, power companies have witnessed a rapid development in recent years with the promotion from both the increasing demand for energy and the massive investment of human resource as well as material resource. However, with its rapid development, some negative factors that seriously hinder the power companies'development are also exposed, such as the monopoly, the slow development of integrated management and core competitiveness, and the resource waste caused by the massive investment of human resource and material resource. Thus, some effective measures should be taken to regulate the development of the enterprise and informationization is one of the most important ones.From the DOS machine used in engineering calculations and scientific computing by the power companies in the 60s of the last century to the present enterprise information integrated platform built by the State Gird Corporation's "SG 186 Project'", these fifty years'information development not only promotes the economic development of the power companies but also accelerates the pace of the power sector reform. In the new era, the power companies realize the importance of information to its long-term development. Thus, to ensure the implementation of enterprise information, the State Gird Corporation started the "SG 186 Project" with the introduction of a supervision system for the information project.The article focuses on the research of information supervision mechanism in the process of the power companies'informationization. With the rapid development of the information technology, the companies'demands for the information are expanding, and the problems exposed in the process of the enterprise informationization are also increasing, such as the delay in the progress, the constant demands for additional funds and no guarantee for the quality. And the information supervision organization, as an independent third party, can effectively monitor and manage the above undesirable phenomenon and ensure the implementation of the companies'informationization.The first part introduces the current development of the power companies in terms of informationization at both home and abroad as well as the rules and standards made by our country for the information supervision organizations. It also discusses the trend of the development of the information supervision as well as the power companies'informationization.The second part is a brief introduction of the theories involved in the information system supervision, such as the enterprise informationization, the information supervision system, and the project management with its focus on information system supervision, namely "three supervisions, five controls, three management and one coordination", and the contents of which are involved in the discussion accordingly.The third part is the analysis of the introduction of the information supervision mechanism to the power companies'informationization. First, the author reviewed the construction of the power enterprises'informationization and analyzed the current status of the informationization of the companies. Then, the author proposed the information supervision model and the principles that should be followed when it is being used.Part Four discusses the necessity and feasibility of the information supervision mechanism in the process of informationization of the power enterprises according to the characteristics of our information supervision industry and puts forward some suggestions on promoting the development of our power companies'supervision industry accordingly.The part that followed is a case study of the information supervision mechanism used by a power company in its information construction. The power company plans to develop a "Transmission GIS System". First, the author analyzes the previous development of the company's informationization to prove that it is necessary to introduce the information supervision mechanism to the "Transmission GIS System". Then, the author discusses the information supervision process of the "Transmission GIS System" and its application in the model of information supervision. Finally, the applicability of information supervision model in the information process of the power companies is being discussed.In conclusion, the information supervision mechanism is one of the factors that determine the success or failure of the informationization of the power companies. And only the introduction of the information supervision mechanism can ensure the companies'information process and promote the comprehensive strength and core competitiveness of the power companies. And in the end, the author believes that her study on the supervision mechanism of the information system still needs improvement for lacking in corresponding statistics and more research in this field is still needed.
