Research On The Obstacles In Chinese Private-owned Enterprise's Internationalization

Chinese enterprises have been successively witnessed 4 times of large-scale internationalization tides since 1980's. Many enterprises stepped off the nation by different ways. Some of them founded a factory in overseas; some acquired the shares and branch of the famous company in the world, and some even acquired all of them. In a word, Chinese enterprises participated in the internationalization competition in various ways.Chinese companies frequently have started getting involved in overseas market, especially since the financial crisis broke out. With depth and infestation of the financial crisis, the assets price of some international financial institution and enterprise has shrink by large margins and their profitability and balance sheet promptly deteriorated as well as the financing of enterprise becomes very difficult caused by credit crisis. This environment has provided a good opportunity to the homeland enterprise to "step out" to realize expansion at low cost.However, the road of Chinese enterprise's internationalization is not smooth at all. The enterprises have come across numerous difficulties on the road to proceed: Lenovo has encountered "safety gate" incident; ZTE Corporation and HUAWEI failed in India; Haier has failed to acquired Maytag Corporation, the transaction by China Minmentals Corporation acquiring Australian OZ Minerals has been stopped... what factor blocks Chinese enterprise internationalization on earth?Firstly, in the background of economy globaliztion and financial crisis and in the angle of Scientific Outlook,the current situation and problem in developing process that our private-owned enterprises encounter have been analyzed and the necessity of our private-owned enterprises internationalization has been brought forward in this thesis. Further, the current situation, theory and motivation of the private-owned enterprise's internationalization has ben analyzed and It turns out Chinese private-owned enterprise's internationalization is feasible. Secondly, compared with the internationalization of prior countries and of Chiese state-owned enterprises with private-owned enterprises, this thesis has summarized the problems with private-owned enterprise's internationalization all round, which makes a bedding for the core content of this thesis that the obstacles emerge on the road of private-owned enterprise's internationalization.In addition, a case of TCL internationalization has been adopted in this thesis as demonstration analysis in the process of study on the obstacle of internationalization and summed up where the obstacle of private-owned enterprise's internationalization is by the fact of the case. At the same time, it also has reached pertinent enlightenment. Last but not least, the countermeasures according to the obstacles of private-owned enterprise's internationalization have been analyzed in this thesis. This study aims to work out relevant laws, regulations and policies for private-owned enterprises "stepping out" and provides corresponding theories as references for carrying on the fundamental approach and pattern of internationalization.
