| With China’s rapid economic development and expand of foreign trade, thedevelopment of foreign trade in Guangdong Province is unique in the country. Privateenterprises in Guangdong Province have an important role in promoting foreign tradeand economic development in Guangdong. In the process of implementation of the"going out" strategy, private enterprises in Guangdong Province have activelydeveloped the export trade, expanded overseas investment channels, and participatedin international competition directly.This essay conducts theoretical analysis and empirical research of thedevelopment of private enterprises and the mode of internationalization of privateenterprises in Guangdong Province, and uses the New-New trade theory for in-depthanalysis.Firstly, this essay calculates the total factor productivity of part of the listedprivate enterprises in Guangdong, and verifies the New-New trade theory by testingthe positive correlation between productivity and export trade.Secondly, this essay uses the time-series data of private enterprises inGuangdong Province for how to weigh the regression analysis on the relationshipbetween exports and foreign direct investment and estimation. The results show thatthe sunk costs of FDI, tariff levels and economic development level are the mainfactors which affect the proportion of exports and FDI of private enterprises inGuangdong Province.Finally, based on theoretical and empirical analysis, carried out at the conclusionof this article summarize and put forward specific policy recommendations. |
