Research On The Relationship Of Psychological Contract Between Travel Agents And Tour Guides

Tour guide is the key human resource and plays an important role for travel agents. Recently, with an increasing sharp of competition in domestic tour market, many travel agents pay little attention to its own management, especially management of tour guides. It has caused a series of problems, such as tour guides are very angry,frequently absent-from-mind in work, even they choose to give up, which make serious effect on the development of travel agents and the whole tour field.This thesis tries to build the harmonious relationship between travel agents and tour guides with the theory of psychological contract. It has not only enriched the theory of psychological contract, used the theory into the research of travel agents, but also helps the management of human resource in travel agents and the development of the whole tour field.This thesis can be divided into five parts. In Part 1, it shows the background,contents,methods and significance of research; In Part 2, it introduces the recent researches of the management of human resource in travel agents and the management of tour guides; In Part 3, with the theory of psychological contract, it puts forward to an assumption of constructing a model of tour guides psychological contract on the basis of their work characteristics; In Part 4, using the data results of questionnaire and the software SPSS, it examines the contents of domestic tour guides psychological contract and points that tour guides of different education level,working age,if part-time or full-time, has different psychological contract contents; In Part 5, it puts forward to suggestions to strengthen the management of human resource in travel agents and build harmonious relationship between travel agents and tour guides.
