Intellectual Capital's Measurement And Its Impact On Innovation Performance Under The Background Of Open Innovation

With increasing economic globalization, enterprises are facing more and more pressure of competition, in face of a so competitive market, innovation is the only way to keep sustainable competitive. On the other hand, the resources needing for innovation are also increasingly large and diversity, in this situation more and more companies choose to cooperate with other companies, obtain their intellectual capital to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of innovation.With the purpose of promoting technology innovation performance of enterprises, this study first reconstructs the concept of intellectual capital, then brings up a new measurement of intellectual capital, finally explores the relationship between intellectual capital and technology innovation performance on the background of open innovation. This paper has two innovative points. First, on the background of open innovation, based on the results of previous studies, this paper reconstructs the concept of intellectual capital, then brings up a new measurement of intellectual capital. Second, this study combines previous research, systematically explores the relationship between intellectual capital and technology innovation performance. Since previous studies rarely considered external intellectual capital's role in promoting technology innovation, this type of research can help companies better manage internal and external intellectual capital in order to promote technology innovation performance.By sorting out the relevant theory, empirical survey and case studies, this paper verifies a variety of internal intellectual capital and external intellectual capital models and their impacts on technology innovation performance. What's more, this paper finds out synergies between internal intellectual capital and external intellectual capital when both kinds of innovation are conducted in one enterprise.
