Research On MES In Discrete Manufacturing Enterprise Integrated With ERP

Manufacturing execution systems which is a management information system and management thinking for the workshop production is between the business plan layer and the control layer. It plays the role of contacting with ERP and the control layer. Thus, it is particularly important for the implementation of manufacturing execution system that how to integrate MES and ERP.The paper describes the development, the principles and the functions of ERP and MES.
