The most of electronic manufacturers had reduced their capacity in 2008. But from the beginning of 2009, the market of notebook computer (NB) has grown up greatly. So X Company which is one of top manufacturers started up the business. The exordium is that the economic change impacted on the electronic market, and F Company is facing some problems for NB ODM business.In 1st chapter, describe the company procurement's organization, process and management, and there are three issues as following: long cycle of product research & development, the non-competitive cost of materials, the imbalance of supply & demand.In 2nd chapter, analyze the detailed reasons that lead to above issues, conclude three points: the materials class didn't suit supply orientation, communication was not smooth and the risk management of procurement was not perfect. They were particularly explained to separate 3 sections in this chapter.In 3rd chapter, it would give solution to resolve these problems in procurement process. First, create a 3D model (Cost, Quality impact and Procurability) to improve the old supply orientation model in order to shape exactly procurement course. Second, constitute a component information system for NB research & development (R&D) and maintain the preferred materials'substitution relationship. It means that could provide preferred materials list to R&D before NB development process. Then set up a supply & demand management system to inspect the supply status and avoid to shortage or excess inventory. Finally, establish a policy and organization to deal with emergencies.In 4th chapter, draw the procurement process optimize flow chart according to above these measures in 3rd chapter, re-define the departments'function and compare it with before. Then evaluate the optimize process as following four aspects: scope, performance, deficiency and trend.Finally, get the conclusion: optimizing procurement process ought to be based on the whole supply chain's stratagem, and customer relationship management is most important to continuously improve the procurement process. |
