Energy And Emission Reduction Potential Of The Key Industries Based On The Environmental Learning Curve In China

Since reform and open policy, the economics of China have a rapid growth, but also brought a large number of resource consumption and environmental pollution. Industry is the main factors which caused by resource consumption and environmental pollution, which concentrated the most of our resource consumption and pollutant emissions. The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the energy and emission reduction potential. First, based on the environmentally friendly industrial evaluation, we analysis the 38 industrial industries and divide them into three types which contain clean, moderate pollution, high pollution industry. At the same time, the high pollution industries are defined as China's key industries. Second, we analyze the twelve high-pollution industries about energy conservation and emission reduction separately:Energy efficiency, establish the environmental learning curve of energy consumption per ten thousand production and the per capita GDP growth; Emission reduction, establish the environmental learning curve of pollution emissions per ten thousand production and the per capita total production, Mainly for the analysis of the power industry:Through the analyzing the environmental learning curve of each pollutant, we find that the pollution emissions per ten thousand production show a decreasing trend in overall. Last, assigning the plan target to the industries, at the same time, we calculate the completion of energy conservation in different sectors and make the sort. We get the following conclusions:With the economic development and the implementation of energy-saving measures, energy efficiency of key sectors decay exponentially; Industry tends to focus on optimizing the energy structure, which have a great emission potential; different industries have the different developing level and emission reduction potential, we should develop appropriate Plans accordingly.
