Since 1990, Mayer and Salovey presented a preliminary theory of Emotional Intelligence, which published in the journal "Emotional Intelligence" as a paper. Since then, the "Emotional Intelligence" has officially boarded as a term in the academic research stage. It is hot in the field of psychology, education, and even the management. Under the background of the research, the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Job Performance were paid more attention and concerns, besides that, a lot of the research paper have discussed the relationship between them. However, many studies have been proven that Emotional Intelligence can promote Job Performance, but this does not justify that the model of Emotional Intelligence and Job Performance is a simple linear relation, we also need more adjustments in study of Emotional Intelligence and Job Performance. Thus, this paper introduces another form of Intelligence--Cognitive Intelligence to adjust the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Job Performance.This paper takes Share-Owned Commercial Banks of Dalian as the research sample. It does the empirical research of Emotional Intelligence, Cognitive Intelligence and Job Performance for the Marketing Staffs at Bank. This paper is divided into four parts:In the first part, the paper shows the significance of the theory and the practical significance. The second part is doctrine of the review. This part presents the theory of Emotional Intelligence, Cognitive Intelligence and Job Performance, even each of the relationship between them. The third part takes Share-Owned Commercial Banks of Dalian as the research sample for the empirical research. The fourth part is the conclusion and recommendations based on a chapter of statistical analyses of the results. It also reviews the promotion of the progress and the existing limitations, and the development of the research in the future.We can get the conclusions from the former analysis:First, the marketing staffs' abilities to perceive others'emotions can positively promote their Task Performance. Second, the four dimensions of the Emotional Intelligence of marketing staffs can positively promote the interpersonal activities. Third, the marketing staffs'abilities to perceive others'emotions, adjust emotions and use emotions can positively promote their work demotion. Four, Cognitive Intelligence can make a passive adjustment among the relationships of perceive emotions and adjust emotions with Task Performance. Five, Cognitive Intelligence can make a postive adjustment between the relationships of perceive self-emotions and interpersonal activities. However, it can make a passive adjustment among the relationships of perceive others'emotions and use emotions with interpersonal activities. Six, Cognitive Intelligence can make a passive adjustment between the relationships of adjust emotions and work demotion. Whereas, it can make little adjustment among the relationships of perceive self-emotions, perceive others'emotions and use emotions with work demotion. Seven, the Emotional Intelligence of marketing staffs at bank have huge difference in their age, education, working-age and revenue. However, the rank of their job have little impact on all dimensions of the Emotional Intelligence. The Job Performance of marketing staffs at bank are different in their age, education and revenue. Whereas, the rank of their job and working-age have little impact on all dimensions of the Job Performance.In spite of this research in Emotional Intelligence, Cognitive Intelligence and Job Performance has made certain conclusions, but due to the academic standards, time, regional restrictions on research fund, there is some disadvantages. These are to be discussed in the future research.
