| Automobile manufacturing industry is rapidly developing in domestic market in recent years. As a result, in 2010, sale of the automobile in China has become the top one in the world. Metal sheet stamping component of the car is the most important components for the industry, because of it's big size, complicated geometric and high quality requirement.G company is a automobile manufacturers which was found more than 10 years ago, there are four sections in the company, including stamping, welding, coating and assembly. This paper focus on introducing the Total Quality Management theory, and how it is applied in the manufacturing of the door skin of the H style automobile in G company. In the last year, door skin of the H style automobile has many quality problems including distortion of the handle, scratch, burr etc. in order to solve these problems, G company has spent a lot of manpower and resource for inspection and rework, except for this, these problems have also impacted the quality of the whole machine. G company intended to find out the root cause of the quality problems by summarizing and analyzing the different problems in production process, systematically analyzing the current quality control system. After the analysis and research of the current status, also base on the Total Quality Management theory, G company has established a better quality control system including PDCA quality cycle, after the implementation of this system, quality of the product, customer satisfaction and cost of quality are all improved.As an example of improving the quality control level in metal stamping part. We hope that it also can be as an example for the automobile industry for how to improve the core competitiveness and innovation ability. |
