Study On Implementation Control Of JSEPC's Financial Management Information System

With the increasing requirements of Jiangsu Electric Power Company (JSEPC) for "group management, intensive management and lean control", necessary reconstruction and upgrading shall be carried out continuously for company's Financial Management Information System (FMIS) JSEPC absorbs the advantages of domestic and abroad service-proven commercial software in terms of function and structure, strengthens the functions, such as group financial administration, overall budget management, capital management, and financial analysis, etc. on the basis of FMIS3, better interprets the 3 in 1 management philosophy of "budget management, accounting check, internal control". With a high degree of integration with other business system and mutual communication with the three levels of flow chart of provincial, city and county, the provincial company's ability of information obtaining and management control is strengthened.It is under the influence of this background that this paper is trying to study implementation control plan of FMIS in the process of information integration of electric power company. The paper adopts a combined research method of specification research and demonstration research, starts from the basic concept of financial management information, introduces the evolution process of domestic and international financial information management, reviews the development process of JSEPC's financial information, and with JSEPC's financial management information as an entering point, introduces in details FMIS's implementation process that JSEPC is implementing. The paper focuses on the problems during FMIS implementation and find out root causes.
