FMIS Application And Research In Power Enterprise Management

Oracle EBS, short for E-Business Suite, consists of many components, such as Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, Human Resource, and it grew up from the basis of Finance. By now modules like Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing have been masterfully used. Oracle EBS, supported by its own powerful database, renders it substantial benefit. The modules each can realize the rapid interconnection and seamless integration with each other, furthermore, each provides an external open interface for the purpose of transaction transmission and data integration, which lay a solid foundation for the future system expansion and function extension. EBS product is positioned by Oracle as the most comprehensive set of integrated global business management software; it provides the most complete BI integrated combination. The FMIS is part of it, is a modern management tool for an advanced management ideas and advanced management tools highly integrated. By implementing FMIS, with advanced management concepts being confused and business processes being solidified, the enterprises achieve the organic integration of capital flow, logistics and information flow, improve operational efficiency, and reduce the cost of management overhead. However the process of FMIS implementation is complex. The management level, IT base, leadership emphasis, the ability of project management and project implementation methodology all matter. With the experiences summarized from the project practices, together with the current situation of ERP implementation and business characteristics of power industry construction period, the paper has an elaboration of project management and critical points of implementation process, such as business survey, requirement analysis, Differentiation analysis, business process integrated with FMIS Solutions. By the conducting business process survey, the FMIS system function and business process practice are integrated with each other better, and the business process become more rationally. Taken management need into account, the solution we put up with makes financial accounting closely connected with management indicator so as to let massive data generated by accounting do good for top management, decision support, and finally enhance the overall management level.
